Dr. Chris Yavis, Founder and Lead Chiropractor

Dr. Yavis completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Then, it was off to Toronto to attend Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he achieved his Doctor of Chiropractic. He returned home where he began practicing in Calgary as an associate and then finally moved his practice to Okotoks and founded Complete Health Chiropractic & Massage.

At Complete Health Chiropractic & Massage, Dr. Yavis likes developing relationships with his practice members and getting to know them. He feels that a healthy relationship is vital in gaining their trust and helping them obtain their true goals when it comes to their health. He not only looks at your pain but how he can improve your daily life, to help you live longer and healthier. His goal is to keep you doing the things you love to do.

Dr. Cody Froese, Chiropractor

Growing up, Dr. Froese engaged in a diverse range of sports including hockey, football, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and baseball. This firsthand experience has given him a profound understanding of the physical demands of various sports and activities. Beyond the realm of health and wellness, Dr. Cody is an avid sports enthusiast, staying meticulously updated on scores, standings, news, and stats. His love for sports is not confined to the professional arena; it’s a reflection of his lifelong commitment to the principles of movement, competition, and well-being. In his downtime, you’ll find Dr. Cody engaged in weightlifting – a testament to his dedication to personal fitness. Additionally, he finds joy in exploring the latest and greatest in the world of entertainment, indulging in streaming new TV shows and movies with his wife.

Dr. Jessica Hilworth, Chiropractor

Dr. Jessica is dedicated to her patients’ long-term health and well-being, firmly believing that no one should have to live with pain or discomfort. Her personalized chiropractic treatments are tailored to each individual’s unique needs and comfort levels, focusing on restoring pain-free movement and improving overall function.



Known for her compassionate, friendly, and approachable nature, Dr. Jessica takes the time to understand her patients’ lifestyles and health goals to create effective, customized treatment plans. She welcomes individuals of all ages and physical abilities, including children, expectant mothers, infants, athletes, and seniors.



Dr. Jessica utilizes Diversified, Activator, and Drop Table techniques in her practice. Additionally, she is certified in the Graston Technique, RockTape Fascial Movement Taping, and Performance Movement Techniques.



Passionate about Foot Levelers custom orthotics, Dr. Jessica particularly likes the custom-made flip-flops with built-in orthotic, perfect for the beach or wearing around the house!

Julia Gillespie, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Julia is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist who joined the Complete Health team in 2018. She completed her comprehensive training at MaKami College in South Calgary, where she invested two full years in a rigorous 3000-hour program to perfect her therapeutic techniques. Her expertise includes specialized certification in myofascial cupping, and she offers a range of massage styles including therapeutic, deep tissue, and relaxation techniques.

Christopher Jacobson, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Chris is a Calgary native and a loving father of three wonderful kids. With his holistic approach to individual well-being, Chris joins our team on a part time basis as he continues a practice from home and furthers his education. His practice incorporates advanced orthopaedic skills, muscle energy techniques and osteopathic manipulation that address pelvic, lumbar and SI imbalances. He finds purpose in affecting real change in clients’ persistent issues; resolving long term challenges with a collaborative client focused approach. Chris is now certified in dynamic cupping, which compliments massage therapy by addressing fascial issues.

Malissa Sargent, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Malissa Sargent is a member of the MTAA (Massage Therapy Association of Alberta) and received her education here in Calgary at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy. Malissa sensed a pull in the direction of Massage Therapy from a very young age; she is compassionate by nature and felt purpose in helping others. Malissa specializes in prenatal and postnatal massage with a focus on pain relief as well as relaxation. She also enjoys treating sports injuries, overuse injuries, nerve impingements and postural dysfunctions using deeper, therapeutic techniques. In her spare time, Malissa loves spending time with her family and two dogs, camping, snowboarding and running outdoors. Her approach is unique and specific to each client, and she is excited to be an essential part of the Complete Health Chiropractic & Massage team. Malissa now offers Hot Stone Massage!

I am an active wife and mother of four amazing kids. I understand the demands of work and family life and their effect on the body. I am a graduate of MH Vicars School of massage – Calgary, and I specialize in Relaxation and a variety of effective therapeutic and remedial massage techniques. I believe that the body is very resilient and that with a little help and education, you can be back to feeling yourself again. Shane Guertin, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Shane is a Registered Massage Therapist with over 24 years of experience along with 2400 hour diploma from Mckays School of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. As a registered member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada, Shane has worked with an array of clientele, including elite athletes, patients involved in motor vehicle accidents, and pregnancy patients, to name a few. Shane is highly skilled in deep tissue massage, myofascial mobilization, and trigger point therapy.

Adrienne Wilson, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Adrienne is a skilled massage therapist with a 2200-hour diploma from Alberta Massage Training, where she graduated in 2015. She creates personalized treatment sessions for her clients, blending relaxation techniques, deep tissue work, and trigger point therapy to meet their unique needs. Adrienne also specializes in cupping therapy, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), and Cranial Sacral Therapy.

Denise Engel, Certified Lymphatic Therapist

Denise is a Certified Lymphatic Therapist who is passionate about providing the best possible care for her clients. While studying to become an RMT, she quickly recognized the importance of the lymphatic system and went on to train in both Vodder and Chikly Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) techniques.

She continues to explore new methods and mix modalities to support each client’s individual needs and goals. Over the years, she has treated a wide range of concerns, including migraines, edema, allergies, IBS, and various autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.

Denise is always happy to connect, talk through your health goals, and help create a treatment plan that gets results

Chelsea Drake, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Chelsea graduated from MaKami College in 2018 and has been dedicated ever since to blending therapeutic and relaxation techniques that support both physical and emotional well-being. Her journey into massage therapy was inspired by a deeply personal experience—providing end-of-life care to a beloved family member. This opened her eyes to the profound healing power of safe, compassionate touch and the incredible gift of offering comfort during vulnerable moments.

She is certified in cupping, hot stone massage, prenatal massage, deep tissue therapy, Swedish relaxation massage, aromatherapy, and Reiki. Always eager to grow her skills, Chelsea is currently pursuing training in RAPID NeuroFascial Reset to further enhance her therapeutic approach.

Outside the treatment room, Chelsea is passionate about holistic health and fitness. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and lifting weights at the gym. She’s also an active community member and serves as the intake coordinator for a local nonprofit dog rescue, turning her love for animals into meaningful advocacy and care.

Dr. Selina Bourgeois, Doctor of Acupuncture

Dr. Selina Bourgeois is a Doctor of Acupuncture and a graduate from the Alberta College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine. She initially sought out an alternative approach to healing with acupuncture, herbs and diet therapy when the conventional methods were not helping. This sparked a desire to work in the healing arts to bring this to other people. She started out with a Registered Massage Therapist diploma and has since expanded to learning to work with the body in a more detailed and holistic manner.

Matthew Firoentini, Physiotherapist

Matthew is a dedicated and passionate physiotherapist who began his journey at the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2021. His commitment to advancing his knowledge and skills led him to pursue a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta, where he graduated in Spring of 2024.

Born and raised in Calgary, Matthew is a lover of all sorts of activities. Whether navigating hiking trails in Kananaskis, practicing yoga, or swimming at his local gym, his love for movement and staying healthy is seamlessly integrated with his physiotherapy practice. Matthew recognizes the profound impact of an active lifestyle on overall well-being and is committed to instilling this philosophy in his approach to patient care. Matthew’s practice combines manual therapy, and specialized exercise regimens suited to the unique needs of his patients, all while creating an open-minded, judgment-free and authentic environment that promotes success in his patients’ outcomes.

In the future, Matthew will pursue additional training in various areas to further enhance his physiotherapy practice, including Functional Dry Needling (Levels 1 & 2), Orthopedic Levels, Vestibular and Temporomandibular (TMJ) training.

I’m fortunate to work with a fantastic team of professionals who share the same commitment to patient care, and together, we create an atmosphere of trust and well-being. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy movie nights with friends, mountain adventures with my spouse and dog, and just being in nature whenever I can. Chyanne Simpson, Assistant Clinic Manager, Patient Care Facilitator

Chyanne joined the Complete Health Chiropractic & Massage team as a full-time chiropractic assistant in December 2022 and recently took over as Assistant Manager. Growing up in Okotoks, she developed a passion for physical fitness and health from being a competitive swimmer for 15 years. Starting with the local team of Okotoks before moving on to join the varsity team at the University of Lethbridge. They were able to accomplish this while completing her degree in Psychology and Linguistics. Outside of the clinic you will find Chyanne curled up with a good book, enjoying concerts with friends, and focusing on continued development for her very own home library.
